Credit Repair & Restoration

Credit scores are required from both the primary applicant and co-applicant, if applicable.

Do you know what your FICO Credit Scores are?
Do you have a CreditKarma.com account?

There are many online resources available to get your preliminary credit score, and credit card companies often provide them on monthly statements.

Below are some of the resources our customers have found to be easy and free to verify their FICO score:
  • freecreditreport.com
  • freecreditscore.com
  • creditscorecard.com (Discover)
  • FREE EXPERIAN CREDIT SCORE:  http://www.experian.com/blogs/ask-experian/get-free-fico-score/

Credit Scores for Lease-to-Own Program:
  • You will need at least a 580 Middle Credit Score in order to qualify for this program.

More Credit Tips:

Monitor personal information, account statements and credit reports.
  • You can access your credit report through Experian ™, Transunion ® and Equifax ™. You are entitled to one free report from each of the three credit bureaus once per year. Order a free copy at www.annualcreditreport.com.

Free Equifax monitoring?
  • Equifax is offering all U.S. consumers free credit and identity theft monitoring for one year.

Freeze or Lock your credit file
  • If you think you've been compromised, you can also freeze or lock your credit file.
  • A security freeze prevents lenders from accessing your credit report. However, it will prevent you from applying for credit unless you temporarily unfreeze the account.

You’ll receive a PIN to “thaw” your credit. Keep it in a safe place.
Here’s how to request a freeze:
  • Equifax: Call 1-800-349-9960 or go online
  • Experian: 1‑888‑397‑3742 or go online
  • TransUnion: 1-888-909-8872 or go online

Place Fraud Alerts if a freeze is too much
  • If you plan to apply for credit in the near future, you can place a fraud alert on your files with Experian™, Transunion® and Equifax™.
  • If you don’t want to lock out all creditors — perhaps you’re in the middle of mortgage shopping or refinancing — you can place a 90-day fraud alert on your credit. This tells potential creditors to verify your identity before issuing credit in your name.
  • Contact one of the three bureaus, and it will notify the others.
